From the centre of Verbier resort, take a shuttle bus to the foot of the Savoleyres ski lifts. From there, board the little shuttle bus marked “Sonalon” that will take you to the starting point of your hike.
Put on your gear on the snowy path roughly fifty metres above the final stop. You’ll then follow this path as you enjoy the outstanding view over Verbier resort below.
At the first crossing, take the path on the right towards Croix de Cœur. At the first crossing, take the path on the right towards Croix de Cœur. This takes you to Les Planards, where you’ll be able to make out a small hamlet. Look up a little and you’ll see your finishing point, the Col de la Croix de Cœur. After passing its small chalets, you’ll climb a steeper path that leads to your finishing point.
Take the time to admire the magnificent panorama as you enjoy one of the traditional dishes on offer!
