Lac des Vaux

Perched at an altitude of 2,543 metres, Lac des Vaux welcomes everyone from walkers to fishermen and the bravest swimmers!  Located on the heights of La Tzoumaz and Verbier, you can reach the lake in 1.5 hours of walking from the altitude restaurant in Croix-de-Coeur. Following the Grand Tour du Lac des Vaux route at the exit from the Savoleyres gondola, you’ll also have the opportunity to discover Vallon d’Arbi and its protected nature before going down into the village of La Tzoumaz. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome on this unique site, and can obtain a permit from the tourist office starting from the month of June. Between blue waters and green pastures, everyone is sure to agree on this spot!
